What does the premium upgrade include?
Premium is a one-time lifetime purchase that unlocks the extended Solar System — including dwarf planets, comets, asteroid belts, historic spacecraft, and a suite of educational guided tours and interactive science modes like eclipse simulation and orbital mechanics visualisation.
Do I need to install anything?
No. We Are Small runs entirely in your browser using WebGL. It works on any modern desktop browser including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. A keyboard and mouse or trackpad are recommended for the best experience.
Can I use it in a classroom?
Absolutely. We Are Small was designed with education in mind. Teachers can use it as an interactive demonstration tool for astronomy, physics, and earth science lessons. The free tier covers the core Solar System, and the premium tier adds educational guided tours with narrated content.
How do I navigate the Solar System?
Click anywhere on the 3D scene to enter flight mode. Use WASD keys to fly, move the mouse to look around, and hold Shift for a speed boost. Press Esc to exit flight mode. You can also double-click any planet label to warp there instantly.
